TURMERIC LATTE

We know that giving up coffee in the morning is difficult, but if you dare, we really like the turmeric latte because it is anti-inflammatory. If you don't feel like making the pasta yourself, we love the Baïa brand mix.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Turmeric
  • Pepper
  • Water
  • Vegetable drink (almonds or coconut)
  • Coconut oil
  • Cinnamon (optional)

STEPS:

  • The first thing is to make the turmeric paste with 1/4 cup of turmeric powder, 1/2 tablespoon of pepper and 1/2 cup of water. We mix everything in a pot and stir over medium heat until we obtain a homogeneous paste.

  • We put it in a jar and keep it in the refrigerator to cool. You can store this pasta for up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator.

  • Next, we mix in a pot a cup of vegetable drink (almonds or coconut), a teaspoon of coconut oil and half a teaspoon of turmeric paste and mix them well so that all the ingredients are well integrated before it starts to boil. .

TIP: We like to sprinkle cinnamon on top but that is optional. It is better not to sweeten it but if you need to sweeten it, use Stevia.
