Stewed lentils with vegetables

If stewed lentils are delicious, imagine how delicious they will be with the extra flavor that bone broth gives them.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 300 gr. of lentils
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Kombu seaweed
  • 300 ml of Cooldo Bone Broth

STEPS:

  • Lentils should be soaked overnight to eliminate antinutrients and make us feel better.

  • Pour a splash of oil into the saucepan and add the onion, tomatoes, and carrots. Let it sauté for 5 minutes, then add the water and lentils.

  • Then, season with salt and pepper, add the bay leaf and kombu seaweed, cover the pot, and simmer until tender. The kombu seaweed and bay leaf will also help improve digestion.

  • At the end of cooking, add 500ml of bone broth and let it rest.

TIP: If you are one of those who can't live without chorizo, sprinkle paprika from La Vera on top.
