Steak tartare

To make a good steak tartare, the key is to choose a very good quality beef. In addition to being rich in nutrients, this is a very successful recipe as a main dish for a lunch or dinner with friends.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 250g minced quality beef, cut with a knife
  • 1 dessert spoon old Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons EVOO
  • 1 dessert spoon of chopped capers
  • 1 dessert spoon of chopped pickles
  • 4 sprigs of chopped chives or ½ stem of chopped chives
  • A few drops of Tabasco (optional)
  • 1 egg yolk

STEPS:

  • Mix well all the ingredients.

  • Let it rest for 15 minutes in the refrigerator.

  • Check if it needs a touch of salt and present with the egg yolk on top just before eating.

TIP: Be careful with the Tabasco, if you use too much, it will be too spicy.
